Petrov delighted to out-qualify Kubica
Russia’s Vitaly Petrov was thrilled to have led the way for Renault in qualifying as he managed seventh place on the grid for the Hungarian Grand Prix; the achievement marks the first time the 2010 rookie has started ahead of team-mate Robert Kubica.

Horner responds to Whitmarsh comments
Martin Whitmarsh has dubbed McLaren as the ‘quickest fixed-wing vehicles’ in the aftermath of qualifying in Hungary, referring to his opinion that Red Bull and Ferrari are running front wings which flex are therefore illegal. However, Red Bull counterpart Christian Horner is concentrating only on the job in hand.

Sutil pleased but Liuzzi lamenting mistake
For the second successive weekend, Force India has come across a number of frustrations in Hungary although Adrian Sutil is generally pleased with his grid position of thirteenth. However, team-mate Vitantonio Liuzzi is out-qualified and will start Sunday’s Grand Prix in only sixteenth position.
