‘Heidfeld to test Pirelli F1 tyres on Monday’
Mercedes Grand Prix test and reserve driver Nick Heidfeld is hired by Pirelli to test the tyre manufacturer’s first set of Formula 1 tyres Spanish newspaper AS reports on Sunday. According to AS Heidfeld will be testing for three days at Mugello.

Dennis supports Villeneuve’s bid to enter F1
McLaren’s Ron Dennis has said it would be good for Formula 1 to see Jacques Villeneuve return to Formula 1 with his own team. The Canadian is hoping to enter Formula 1 with Durango in 2011.

US Grand Prix expected to be held in June
According to Formula 1 boss the 2012 US Grand Prix is likely to be held in June, most likely a week ahead or after the Canadian Grand Prix. Formula 1 will return to the United States with Austin organising the race as of 2012 on a brand-new, Hermann Tilke designed, circuit.
