Bernie Ecclestone admits that he still hopes to see Formula 1 racing in or around New York, despite having confirmed a Texas Grand Prix for 2012 onwards. Plans for an event in the former had already seemingly fallen through this year although the F1 commercial rights holder remains optimistic.
