Formula 1 governing body the FIA ran the brand-new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Safety Car in Bahrain on Thursday in the regular race weekend track inspection. The model makes its own F1 debut this year and will once again be driven by experienced touring car driver Bernd Maylander.
